CONSERV FS Works to Ease Supply Issues with New Facility

Caledonia, Ill. (AgPR) June 16, 2022CONSERV FS is excited to announce a major expansion which will more than double storage capacity and better serve customers in the Rockford, Northern Illinois and Southern Wisconsin, area more efficiently. The groundbreaking for the Caledonia Service Center expansion will happen Thursday June 23rd at 2:30 p.m. The planned updates include a new 6,000-ton dry fertilizer building, crop protection products warehouse, and one-million-gallon bulk liquid fertilizer storage tank. Both the dry fertilizer and the liquid facility will contain automated systems integrated with ordering, operations, and accounting software providing a greatly streamlined processes and improved flow of information to the customer. “At CONSERV FS we are committed to serving the farmers of today while planning for the future and the needs of the next generation of farmers,” says CONSERV FS General Manager Dave Swigart. “We’ve been serving agriculture for nearly 100 years and this new project at our Caledonia facility demonstrates our commitment to the future of agriculture in our territory.” Greystone Construction is the general contractor on the expansion. Colin O’Brien, Greystone VP of Business Development, says, “We are honored to be partnering with CONSERV FS again.
