American Dairy Goes International Webinar: Join the Young Cooperators Program and U.S. Dairy Export

Exports are critical to the economic viability of U.S. dairy farmers. Today, one-sixth of all U.S. milk is sold commercially around the world in a broad spectrum of dairy products and ingredients. Join the National Young Cooperators Program for a webinar that will provide a look into the U.S. Dairy Export Council’s role in expanding markets for American dairy products to the 95% of the world population living outside the U.S. A panel of U.S. Dairy Export Council staff will bring perspectives from the organization's Trade Policy, Global Economic Affairs, Cheese Marketing and Strategic Insights teams. Tony Rice

Tony works jointly with NMPF and USDEC to advance the development, implementation, and communication of the organizations’ work to support policies that promote U.S. dairy exports, to seek removal of policies that impede those exports and to address foreign barriers to U.S. dairy sales.


Alex Peterson

Peterson Dairy, Inc.


Alex is a third-generation dairy farmer, operating Peterson Dairy, Inc. in Grundy County, Missouri with his parents and brother. In his capacity as USDEC Vice Chair, Alex helps guide the organization and serve as a spokesperson for the importance of dairy exports.


Will Loux

Vice President for Global Economic Affairs

NMPF and the U.S. Dairy Export Council


Will provides global economic analysis for both USDEC and NMPF. In this role, he leads both organizations’ analysis and insight into U.S. and international dairy markets, engaging closely with stakeholders around the world to forecast global market dynamics.


Amy Foor

Vice President, Culinary Cheese Education Programs

U.S. Dairy Export Council


Amy works enhance the profile of the U.S. dairy industry and U.S. dairy products on the world stage. In collaboration with USDEC’s overseas office network, she manages a variety of initiatives aimed at building confidence in and preference for U.S. dairy.


Megan Sheets

Senior Director of Strategic Development and Insights

U.S. Dairy Export Council


Megan leads custom research initiatives that provide insight into global dairy trends and international market opportunities. Prior to joining USDEC, she spearheaded consumer insights at Midwest Dairy where she designed research that guided strategy to serve industry partners.
